This book was really deep. Although it is only 150 or so pages, it took me a while to read because I had to stop and really think about what the author was saying (in a good way). There was no skimming. Reading this book was a real needed spiritual workout. The book deals with how many of us (myself included here) truly care much more about ourselves than others, and how the Lord calls us to a life that looks insignificant to the world, but is really important in His eyes.
He talks about his journey as a middle school teacher in a failing school, and how the Lord used that experience to to help him realize what was really important..,,serving the unimportant. The author leads the reader to ask themselves the question whether they need to be successful or is anonymity for Jesus enough? Is Jesus enough?
Highly recommended for Christian SAHM (stay at home moms) like myself.
Cool book.
